19th Century Folk Art Hand-Painted Shave Box / Caddy

$195.00

Folk Art primitive shave box (circa Late 19th Century America) crudely carved, assembled, and hand-painted with single-drawer storage. Wonderful example of outsider art further enhanced by the misspelling of ‘Caddy.’ (‘Cady for your shave’ is painted on the surface.)
A delightful American folk art relic in good, antique condition showing losses consistent with age (paint loss throughout along with general wear). Remains functional.
