Vintage Postmodern lemon yellow acrylic cube storage unit housing three white acrylic drawers with half-moon cut outs for pulls (ca. 1970s, Canada).
Reminiscent of designs by both Palaset of Finland and Joe Colombo for Kartell.
Though, the company, Treco, from Quebec was manufacturing Italian designed furniture at the time in ABS plastic and acrylic. This piece could potentially have been manufactured by Treco, though it is only branded ‘Made in Canada’ to the underside of the drawers (no formal attribution can be made).
Stylish, functional storage solution whose size lends itself to both tabletop and floor use, doubling as a side table/surface.
Moderate scuffing to acrylic consistent with age/use, as shown (front of drawers, surface, and sides). Overall, good, vintage condition, sturdy with smoothly sliding/removable drawers.
