Vintage Outsider Art Carved “Cat” Matchbook Holder

Hand-carved Folk Art matchbook holder with attached metal eyes and original hand-painted details (ca. 1940s, USA). Primary box color is black with an orange back.
Equipped with a hole through the tail for wall mounting, though works well as a table top decorative object.
Paint losses consistent with age / use and tarnish to the button eyes. Otherwise, in good, structurally sound, vintage condition.
