Vintage Folk Art Hand-Carved Dual Ball in Cage Whimsy Chain

Whimsical Folk Art chain whittled from one continuous piece of wood (ca. 1940s, USA).
In addition to the traditional chain link design, there are two ‘cages’ containing two balls each and a middle bracket, all with a carved diamond motif.
Equipped with a string attached to the middle bracket for wall mounting. Presents equally well as a tabletop objet d’art.
Very good, vintage condition with patina / wear consistent with age and use.
