Vintage Esavian English Display Clock on Stand
$195.00
Esavian was the trading brand name for the Educational Supply Association Ltd, a leading UK supplier of school books, school furniture and fixtures including laboratory equipment, windows and folding partitions. The most notable product manufactured by E.S.A. was the student ‘Compass’ chair designed by James Leonard in 1946 (pre-dating Jean Prouve’s design). This piece appears to be an instructional wooden model, likely manufactured for school children. However, this is a rare example, and could have been made solely for advertising purposes. (Manual function only; does not operate as a clock.)
