Mid-Century Czech/Bohemian Modern art pottery lidded pitcher/teapot imported into the United States by Theodore Eberling and Frederick Reuss’s Philadelphia-based company, Erphila (an amalgam of the first letters of their last names and Phila representing Philadelphia).
From the “Highlander” series with its tartan/plaid pattern, influenced by Scottish textile design.
Very good, vintage condition with light patina/wear but no chips/cracks/losses.
Retains the stamped signature “Erphila Czecho Slovakia. Highlander”
