Vintage Capiz Shell Chandelier after Verner Panton
Spectacular three-tiered capiz shell fixture reminiscent of Panton’s 1964 ‘3DM’ design. Composed of nylon thread connecting the capiz shells to the top circular wood mount. Cord runs down the middle of the fixture, and each cluster of shells has its respective socket (three bulbs in total). Newly rewired, but may need to be rewired, depending on the preferred length of the cord. Only one detection of breakage to note; a small piece of one of the shells has broken off. Excellent, vintage condition, otherwise.
