Vintage American Studio Craft Solid Cherrywood Handheld Dressing Table Mirror

Elegant dressing table/handheld mirror composed of a inset mirror glass supported by a hand-carved, organic-form solid cherrywood frame (ca. 1960s, USA).
Unique, ingenious design crafted with a flat surface so the handheld mirror can sit erect on a dressing table or vanity when not in use, making it both a highly functional and stylish objet d’art.
Excellent, vintage condition – glass is clean and there are no imperfections to the cherrywood.
Carved “RP” signature present to the reverse. (Reminiscent of the New Hope woodworkers of the Mid-20th Century, but artist ‘RP’ is unknown.)
