Torch-Cut Mixed Metal ‘Bull’ Sculpture
This Brutalist bull sculpture is comprised of a shell of torch cut mixed metal sheets. The legs and horns were soldered on, enhancing the already crude aesthetic… the bulls role in American cultural was none more prevalent than in the mid twentieth century as it was often an object d’art amidst the period aesthetic in nearly every medium while remaining a key component for modern collectors and design today.
