Late 19th Century Royal Bayreuth of Tettau, Germany porcelain figural tomato tea service including:
the lidded tea pot, creamer, lidded sugar jar, lidded jelly jar, and salt and pepper shakers with original cork stoppers.
Some paint loss and a fleabite present to the salt and pepper set, as shown. Overall, in very good, antique condition with wear consistent with age and use.
Early Royal Bayreuth marking present (the earliest branding was the cursive “T.” This stamp, the second branding the company used, features a single lion holding a “T” shield). Estimated date of production is ca. 1875-1900.
