Set of Six Italian Modern Rosewood and Leather Dining Chairs by Luciano Frigerio
Impressive set of six dining chairs in rosewood with hide leather seats and brass accents by Luciano Frigerio (ca. 1970, Italy).
Deeply sculpted frames with curved slat-back design and thick, robust legs for optimal stability and support. Wide, spacious leather seats are attached to the frames with brass buckles. Rosewood is richly stained, appearing dark brown, almost black in certain light.
Very good, vintage condition. Brass ‘coin’ accents show varying degrees of patination, and some seats are heavily textured while others are smooth. All are richly aged with natural patina/slight wear present (scuffs to the leather, tarnish to the brass as shown).
The frames have been conservatively refinished and show light wear (light nicks/scuffs).
