Set of “Infraphil” Heat Lamps / Sconces by Charlotte Perriand for Philips
$850.00
Set of two “Infraphil” heat table lamps / sconces by Charlotte Perriand for Philips (Netherlands, 1950s). Composed of enameled metal bases (one beige and the other cream) with red brushed aluminums rings and red glass bulbs. Designed as heat lamps, although they could be converted to serve as table lamps or sconces.
Light wear consistent with age (spots of paint loss, patina to the aluminum and the brass and chrome fittings).
Slightly different designs with dimensional disparities:
darker beige sconce with the chrome fitting: H: 9.5″ x D: 8.5″ x L: 5.75″
lighter cream sconce with the brass fitting: H: 9″ x D: 8.5″ x L: 5.75″
Both lamps retain the Philips manufacturer label.
