Set of Seven Vintage “Gronda” Wall Mirrors / Coat Racks by Luciano Bertoncini

$7,000.00

Set of seven (four mirrors with coat racks have sold) modular “Gronda” coat rack/mirrors designed by Luciano Bertoncini and produced by Elco (ca. 1970s, Italy).
Composed of rectangular uprights lined in black extruded plastic with metal components and tinted mirrored-glass fronts.
Two of the seven modules have fixed glass with no coat rack function; the other five include a lower fixed mirror portion and a pivoting top mirror section that, when pressed, can be used as a coat hanger.
Includes the seldomly seen, original wall brackets in a 3-4 orientation (or 4-3 configuration, as the brackets along with the mirrors are completely modular).
Alternatively, the mirrors can free-stand upright at a slant, though wall mounting is recommended for stability.
Very good, vintage condition with light scuffs to the black plastic, a few scratches to the glass and light desilvering around the mirror edges (all wear is minor and age commensurate).
This listing is for the set of seven, but brackets can be modified and pieces sold individually. The price reflects the set of seven.
