Complete set of eight Roman Chariot motif coasters with original box by Piero Fornasetti for Fornasetti Milano made exclusively for Saks Fifth Avenue (ca. 1960s, Italy).
Lithographically decorated gilt porcelain, each depicting two Romans in a horse-drawn chariot.
Original box shows wear (pen markings to the top) and coasters have light marks/scuffs/discoloration to the horses’ black outlines on one of the coasters, which has a purple-ish tinge. Overall, this complete set is in good, vintage condition.
