Rare Maple and Iron Desk by Dorothy Schindele

Scarcely seen desk by Dorothy Schindele composed of a maple surface, back, and drawer inserts supported by wrought iron bases. Equipped with three pull out drawers, which pull out effortlessly and are each fitted with a woven-cane liner for storage. Additional lidded, cane basket serves as ample storage for larger items. All components are original; piece is in excellent, restored condition with slight wear to the surface (few surface scuffs / scratches, as pictured).
Table surface itself is 47.75″ long.
