Paul McCobb Planner Group 20-Drawer Chest
Rare example of Paul McCobb’s 20-drawer chest for the ‘Planner Group’ for Winchendon. Expertly restored to its original condition, the vibrant grain of the maple has great movement and sheen appearing to have tiger stripes and or bird’s-eye’s maple attributes. Wonderful in both aesthetic and practical senses; ample storage and ideal for living, dining or bedroom use. The drawer pulls are original, the end pulls are smaller than the drawer pulls by design. The depth of the surface is: 18.25. The depth including the pulls is: 19.5. The depth with the doors open is: 26.25″.
Condition: Good. Beautiful, restored condition but surface shows slight unevenness / discoloration. separation on one of the sides has been repaired (see photographs).
