Pair of Vintage Articulating Chrome Desk/Task Lamps by Jac Jacobsen for Luxo
Pair of vintage Luxo articulating chrome desk/task lamps on weighted chrome bases originally designed in 1937 by Jac Jacobsen (these examples are from the early 1960s, evidenced by their early tags and metal interior shades, which were later replaced with plastic).
Highly adjustable – the spring balanced action allows the lamp to adjust in a variety of configurations while maintaining tension at each point.
Very good, newly polished condition with scratches, as shown, and patina/tarnish and one spot of chrome loss to the round base of one of the lamps.
Present well and function perfectly.
