Oversized Italian Modernist Table Lamp in Patinated Copper, Bronze and Glass

Visually striking, tall table lamp with patinated, triangular copper and bronze shade with brass finial and lower copper stem flanking an opaline glass central column, all supported by a round patinated steel base (ca. 1950s, Italy).
Lamp is assembled by twisting the glass column into the shade and placing it within the base carriage.
Design incorporates elements of Modernism and Brutalism, likely designed for an outdoor environment, it lends itself to a variety of decorating styles.
Very good, vintage condition – the copper/bronze is visible in places where the original, naturally patinated stain has faded, and the steel base shows heavy patina/verdigris. The glass is perfect, free of chips or cracks.
Original Italian socket, wiring, and plug (plug will be changed for US use, unless otherwise requested).
