1960s tall vase (12″ H x 5″ Diameter) designed by artist, “Esther” for Lapid Pottery Works in Tel Aviv, Israel. Composed of a slip cast stoneware vessel, which has been hand-painted in a brick red and blue block-color pattern. There is a light, mottling to the otherwise flat-white background color. Lovely piece of Israeli studio ceramics in excellent, vintage condition.
