Hand-Painted Folk Art Porcelain ‘Pig’ Ashtray
Delightful folk art porcelain pig ashtray (circa 1940s/50s) with hand-painted detail. The lower lip acts as a cigarette holder, and the mouth is the tray. Although, designed for ashtray use, it is an equally striking table-top, decorative object.
Lovely color combinations of green, pink, red, turquoise, yellow and green, which brighten the glossy brown primary color.
Minor paint losses in places, as pictured, that do not detract from the charm of this wonderful piece.
