Edward Wormley for Dunbar Mahogany Lounge Chair
High back lounge chair designed by Edward Wormley for Dunbar in the 1950s. Original stained mahogany base and new upholstery / foam. The seat itself doesn’t fully conceal the base; the base extends slightly beyond the frame to both better support the seat and to accentuate the sculptural feet. The fabric is a heavily textured nubby wool selected in tribute to the original blue nubby wool upholstery. The original Dunbar lining is present under the seat cushion. Measures: Arm Height 21.5″.
