Early Set of Four ‘Les Arcs’ Chairs by Charlotte Perriand

Set of first edition black leather and metal ‘Les Arcs’ chairs designed by Charlotte Perriand in the 1950s. Rare examples whose frames are raw metal (as opposed to the later Cassina editions in painted or chromed metal) with a variation of the sling design. The leather seats are more minimal than the later examples with less snaps / attachments sewn into the seat to connect the leather to the frame. All original condition.

Condition Notes: Distressed. Original condition. Raw metal shows rust. Beautiful patina to leather. Intact with no losses.
