Danish Modern White Enamel Købenstyle Fondue Pot by Jens Quistgaard for Dansk
$450.00
Købenstyle fondue pot with white enamel finish and solid teak handle supported by a cast iron base with sculptural teak feet designed by Jens Quistgaard for Dansk (ca. 1950s, Denmark and France – the enamel pot was produced by Dansk France, while the cast iron base was produced by Dansk Denmark).
Early example – the 1960s French fondue pot bases differ significantly from the Danish made cast iron and teak ones (in addition to the aesthetic/stylistic differences, this example includes a removable flame cover with teak handle).
Stylish, resourceful design – Quistgaard designed the Købenstyle lids to double as trivets.
Very good, vintage condition with light interior wear and a small flea bite to the lid’s edge along with minimal, general wear, as shown.
