Danish Modern Convertible Daybed/Sofa on Chrome and Walnut Base

This Danish walnut convertible sofa is comprised of two seats (joined to their respective headrests by tubular chromed steel supports) which can be turned inward to convert from sofa into daybed. When the seats are turned on the frame’s track, the head rests effortlessly fall flat. The seats move with ease; this transformation can be achieved by one person’s effort. The piece was just reupholstered in a blue-gray silk chenille which is corduroy-like in appearance.
