Clifford Pascoe for Modernmasters Dining Set

This minimal, elegant dining set was designed in 1951 by Clifford Pascoe for Modernmasters and is comprised of a single-leaf dining table and six chairs, all on hairpin, iron bases. The table features a laminate top ‘wrapped’ around a solid wood frame. The sculptural walnut backrests of the chairs are attached to the iron uprights through bolts (two on each side). The seats have been reupholstered. This chairs was featured in the 1952 Museum of Modern Art Good Design show.
