Hammond’s International Globe (circa 1955) composed of an inflatable globe on painted metal tripod base. Images and font are large in scale and very legible. As durable as a beach ball, this vinyl globe is inflatable / deflatable by way of a locking port mechanism located at the top of the globe (clockwise lock / counter clock unlock). Asymmetrical, 3-legged base in black painted metal is nicely contrasted by painted gold feet / tips. Minor paint loss to the base, as photographed; globe itself is excellent. Listed separately is the table-top version.
