Frond-form pedestal console bowl/centerpiece by Cowan Pottery (ca. late 1920s/early 1930s, Ohio, USA).
Cowan was perhaps most recognized for producing the Viktor Schreckengost-designed line of “Jazz Bowls,” originally made for Eleanor Roosevelt who commissioned the designer to create the perfectly elegant punch bowl.
Attractive matte yellow/orange glazed exterior with a glossy peacock blue interior.
Excellent, vintage condition.
Die-impressed Cowan hallmark present, as shown.
