1950s Rosewood Bar and Mini-Fridge
This mini fridge and bar was custom-made by Penguin Refrigerated Furniture / Springer Industries in the 1950s. It is in working condition with a functioning freezer. The piece was custom-made in rosewood with brushed steel feet and nickel-plated hardware. The top opens up to reveal open storage for barware and glasses. The right side is shelved storage and the left is divided into a refrigerator section with a single rack below an ice box with the three original ice trays. The cabinet itself is reminiscent of (and likely inspired by) early Knoll case pieces.
