Danish Modern Teak and Rosewood Wall Unit Wall by Rud Thygesen & Johnny Sørensen
Two-bay modular teak wall unit designed by Rud Thygesen and Johnny Sørensen for Hansen and Guldborg (Denmark, 1960s).
Features the three original rosewood rails/uprights supporting the teak components – one four drawer cabinet with circular, inset pulls, eight shelves, two lectern-style display shelves and mounting brackets. Additionally, there are two metal brackets (one/rail) for mounting the four-drawer cabinet.
All pieces are original to the unit.
Newly restored condition; light wear remains (light scuffs / general wear, as shown).

Hand Painted Decorative Folk Art Wall-Mounted Shelf
Whimsical Folk Art shelf (circa 1920s, USA) featuring carved and hand painted decoration. There are three tiers for storage in sky blue, green, and blue with carved and painted ‘columns’ adorning the two lower shelves. Given the restriction imposed by these columns, the lower two shelves are only suitable for displaying small decorative items. The top shelf is bordered by a carved and painted ‘ledge.’ The ledge piece is in the back right corner is missing; otherwise, asides from light paint loss to the columns and minor shelf wear / soiling, the unit is in very good, vintage condition for its age.

Mid-Century Modern Studio Pottery Blue Ombré Letter Holder by Deanna Nichols
$250.00Wall-mounted high gloss blue ceramic letter/recipe holder by ceramicist, Deanna Nichols (b. 1942-2017, Missouri).
Holding a BFA from Kansas City Art Institute (1965) and an MFA from Claremont Graduate University in California (1967), Nichols was educated in painting and complex pottery making techniques at an academic level and later served as an educator at the University of Colorado in Colorado Springs, Southwestern College in Chula Vista, CA, and The Chrysler Museum School in Norfolk, VA.
The second floor of the new student center at Kansas City Art Institute is named for Nichols (see last image).
This piece from Nichols’ early, post-graduate era (late 1960s) features an attractive ombré/color blending of blue hues, beginning with a hint of blue and ending at the top with a deep navy. Practical, stylish piece of American studio pottery from the Mid-20th Century.
Unsigned – from the family of Deanna Nichols’ personal collection of her pieces.
