Midcentury Italian Walnut Valet by Fratelli Reguitti in the Style of Ico Parisi

This walnut valet on four caster wheels was designed by Fratelli Reguitti in the 1950s (often mis-attributed to Ico Parisi, who used these valets for styling interiors showcasing his furniture). The hanger is branded with the FR initials.
The piece itself is composed of a walnut frame/hanger and change or cufflink holder. There is a double rack on the bottom for shoes and four caster wheels for easy mobility. The top bar (intended for hanging scarves, ties, or pants) can be extended 1.5″ in either direction by pulling out the brass rod.
There is tarnish to the brass, as pictured. The walnut has been refinished and is in excellent shape.

Midcentury Lightolier Walnut Floor Lamp with Ebonized Base

Lightolier floor lamp in walnut with a flared, ebonized-metal base that mirrors the finish of the socket, circa 1950s. Base uniquely features a linear decorative detail.
Includes the original glass diffuser and an added, vintage shade (Stiffel), similar to the original.
Switch is branded “Lightolier.”

Midcentury New Hope Style Walnut and Rosewood Wall Clock

Striking wall clock (circa 1960s, USA) composed of solid walnut with rosewood inlay. Relatively small size (9.25″) and minimal form, showcasing quality materials and craftsmanship. Nice contrast established by the color and grain differences in the woods employed along with the white clock hands.
Reminiscent of the New Hope, PA style, defined by icons like Wharton Escherick and George Nakashima, but the designer is unknown.
Battery-operated and in working order.
Excellent, vintage condition with only minimal wear present (namely, a couple of very small scuffs to the white paint of the clock hands).

Gooseneck table lamp manufactured by Ewå Belysning of Värnamo of Sweden circa 1950s. Composed of a slate gray lacquered metal shade and base with chromed-metal accents and stem. Shade can be adjusted slightly upward / downward, and gooseneck construction allows the stem to be lowered / raised.
Light wear to shade and base, as shown (few scuffs, spots of paint loss). Overall, nice, vintage condition.
Retains the ‘s’ label and is branded Ewå Värnamo S to the base.
Height can adjust from 15.5″ to 20.25″

Midcentury Three-Drawer Walnut Chest by Mel Smilow

Mel Smilow walnut chest designed in the 1950s for Smilow-Thielle. Composed of sculpted ‘bar’ pulls that support both the form and function of the piece, working beautifully with the minimal design and allowing the drawers to open smoothly and easily. Chest is supported by thin, tapered legs, which enhance the clean lines.
Newly refinished condition, few, small surfaces blemishes remain, as shown. Ebonized back is unfinished and shows wear. Overall, very good condition.

Midcentury Walnut and Brass Gentleman’s Chest after Paul McCobb

This hghboy gentleman’s chest in walnut features two top drawers with circular brass pulls and two bi-fold doors that open to reveal 10 fixed shelves and an additional seven drawers. This piece boasts clean lines, exquisite grain, remarkable tone and minimal form. One scratch to the left side remains; otherwise, in excellent, restored condition.

Daybed / settee designed by Mel Smilow for Smilow-Thielle in the 1950s. Solid walnut construction with newly upholstered Ralph Lauren leather cushions featuring button-tufted detail. Additionally, a Ralph Lauren brown suede lining has been fitted to cover the springs in order to protect the bottom of the cushion from scratches / scuffs. Sharp, sleek lines defined by the dramatically contoured legs and back frame. The original steel straps and metal springs are sound. Walnut has been refinished; only minor wear remains.

1950s walnut dining table supported by elegant, tapered legs designed by Kipp Stewart for Drexel’s “Declaration” line. Includes the two additional leaves. Beautifully bookmatched walnut veneer with only the most minor of tone differentiation between the leaves and the table from less frequent use. Very fine, refinished condition, with only minor wear.
Includes the original box for the two leaves.
