Vintage Italian Wall-Mounted Coat Hook/Rack in Aluminum and Walnut
$350.00Vintage wall-mounted coat hook in Italian walnut and anodized aluminum (ca. 1960s, Italy).
Original green aluminum finish shows patina and is worn in places. There is one dent to one of the hooks towards the bottom, as shown.
Light scuffs to the walnut, only visible in direct light.
Relatively small size, ideal for a foyer – 4.5″ H x 15.63″ L x 3.88″ D
Retains the “Mod. Dep. Made in Italy.”
Vintage Japanese Chrome and Etched Glass “Penguin” Decanter and Music Box
$350.00Mid-Century Japanese chrome, stainless steel, black plastic, and etched glass penguin-form liquor bottle/decanter with music box component that plays “How Dry I Am.” Designed in a Deco style, but manufactured around the late 1950s/early 1960s.
Penguin’s head composed of black plastic with chrome-plated beak and eyes doubles as a removable stopper.
Very good, vintage condition, sans spots of black paint loss to the chrome on the back of the decanter. Bottle has been cleaned and can be used as intended or for purely decoration purposes, as the charming penguin figurine alone makes for a nice tabletop decoration. Music box is functioning.

Vintage Japanese Otagiri Incised Vase by OMC
$130.00Circa 1950s stoneware vase (Otagiri vase) produced by the Otagiri Mercantile Company (OMC) of Japan. OMC hired renowned artists including Bob Harrison, Wendy Morgan, Kurt R. Kress and Tom Taylor to design their products, which became common exports to the USA (particularly to California).
This example features an attractive assembly of earth-tones with an incised leaf and bird pattern) Relatively sizable example (H: 8.5″ x Diameter: 3.5″), as most common examples are small bud vases / dishes.
Retains the OMC foil label to the underside.

Vintage Lilac and Pale Gray Studio Ceramic Planter with Plate by Deanna Nichols
$950.00Studio ceramic planter with drainage hole and plate/saucer by ceramicist, Deanna Nichols (b. 1942-2017, Missouri).
Holding a BFA from Kansas City Art Institute (1965) and an MFA from Claremont Graduate University in California (1967), Nichols was educated in painting and complex pottery making techniques at an academic level and later served as an educator at the University of Colorado in Colorado Springs, Southwestern College in Chula Vista, CA, and The Chrysler Museum School in Norfolk, VA.
The second floor of the new student center at Kansas City Art Institute is named for Nichols (see image).
This piece dates to the early 1990s, based on the signature “D. Nichols,” which she used during that era and features a design reminiscent of the linear pattern and shape of certain sea shells. The rim decorated with incised sinuous lines protrudes out slightly from the vessel. Attractive pale gray color with lilac/periwinkle rim.

Vintage Lucite Free-Standing Mantle Clock
$650.00Artist signed Ca. 1970s lucite mantle / tabletop clock that can additionally be wall mounted. Modernist shape and pops of color to contrast the transparent lucite frame.
Battery operated and in functional, ready-to-use condition. There are a few scuffs to the lucite and one spot of paint unevenness to one of the hands (all minor – clock is in very good, vintage condition).

Vintage Lunt Silversmiths English Pewter Decanter
$150.00Ca. late 1940s / early 1950s English Pewter ship liquor decanter made exclusively for Lunt Silversmiths. Modernist form featuring a a graduated body, stepped ridge to the stem, and a flared rim topped with the original bulbous-form stopper. Good age present (patina along with a dimple to the stopper, as shown). Overall, very good, vintage condition with wear consistent with age and use.
