Vintage Italian Silver-Plated “Pumpkin” Lidded Serving/Candy Dish
$450.00Italian silver-plated snack/candy/serving dish with lidded top formed to resemble a pumpkin or squash (ca. 1930s/40s, Italy).
This is a shorter, uninsulated version of fruit and vegetable-formed ice buckets made in Italy and France in the Mid-20th Century.
Though shallow, with the addition of an insulated lining this piece can hold ice to stylishly refresh a drink or enhance any tabletop decor.
Features a heavily textured, sculptural stem that serves as the handle for removing the top.
Silver has been newly polished but retains its patina/shows wear (namely, scuffs and spots of tarnish, along with splitting to the edge from repetitive lid placement and removal, as shown).
Branded with silver hallmark to inform date of creation (a raised hand, S and SP), though cypher is unrecognized as belonging to a specific year/manufacturer.

Silver has been newly polished but shows wear (tarnish/peeling/scuffs). The rim has a minor dent, disallowing the lid from sitting completely evenly. Remains an intriguing decorative object in good, usable condition.

Vintage Italian Smoked Glass Concave Round Wall Mirror by Cristal Labor
$1,600.00Cristal Labor wall mirror composed of mirrored glass mounted via two lacquered metal brackets to a curved, smoked-glass frame (ca. 1960s, Italy). The inward curvature of the frame gives the mirror a concave appearance, though the mirror itself is not concave.
Mirrored glass itself is in distressed/antiqued condition with natural foxing and spots of oxidation/tarnish throughout. Smoked glass is in very good, vintage condition, as is the metal hardware.
Retains partial manufacturer’s label “Cristal Labor.”

Vintage Italian Space Age Sculptural Chrome and Acrylic Floor Lamp
$2,800.00Impressive Italian Space Age-Style chromed-metal floor lamp (ca. 1960s, Italy).
Composed of six shaped chrome fixtures supported by a dense chromed-metal stem and round white acrylic base. (Acrylic disc was likely a later addition added to conceal some dents to the original chrome base and can be removed.) Though, the white acrylic adds a nice contrast to the otherwise all chromed-metal lamp.
Statement piece – practical, offering plentiful light sources, while not compromising style.
Very good, vintage condition with light wear to the chrome in addition to one approximately 2″ long scratch to one of the shades, as shown.
Retains the original Italian plug, which will be changed for US use, unless otherwise requested .

Incised decoration present to two of the four sides, appearing ‘grid-like’ in appearance and enhancing the geometric design of the piece.
Retains the manufacturer’s metal tag to one side of the box and paper label to the underside.
Excellent vintage condition with no losses. There is light, age-consistent wear to the polished brass lid, as shown.

Vintage Italian Tripod Table Lamp with Murano Frosted Glass “Swirl” Shade

Frosted cylindrical glass shade is a swirl of taupe-beige against white and emits a warm, potent light.
Overall, very good, vintage condition. There is one scuff to the otherwise perfect shade, wear/tarnish to the brass, and some paint streaks to the tripod base, as shown.
Takes an E27 bulb.
Original, Italian plug will be changed for US use, unless otherwise requested.

Vintage Italian Trompe L’oeil Leather Book Library Folding Screen by Sarreid
$2,400.00Vintage Trompe-l’œil decorative three-panel folding screen/room divider depicting a faux library with antique leather bound book spines by Sarreid (ca. 1960s, Italy).
Each panel is made from stained beechwood with tooled leather books in various colors, designs, and sizes against black masonite backings, all supported by four highly stylized brass finials/feet. The two-way hinges connecting each panel allow each to be positioned inward or outward.
There are three vacant spaces across all three panels — since no exact example has been identified, it’s unclear if three books are missing or if those spaces were designed to be empty.
Regardless, the potentially missing spines do not detract from the beauty or integrity of the piece. The set looks complete.
Very good, conservatively refinished condition – natural patina/soiling to the leather spines, tarnish to one of the unpolished brass feet, and light scuffs/dings to the refinished beechwood along with one veneer fill under a hinge, as shown.
Retains the Sarreid label to the reverse.

Vintage Japanese Chrome and Etched Glass “Penguin” Decanter and Music Box
$350.00Mid-Century Japanese chrome, stainless steel, black plastic, and etched glass penguin-form liquor bottle/decanter with music box component that plays “How Dry I Am.” Designed in a Deco style, but manufactured around the late 1950s/early 1960s.
Penguin’s head composed of black plastic with chrome-plated beak and eyes doubles as a removable stopper.
Very good, vintage condition, sans spots of black paint loss to the chrome on the back of the decanter. Bottle has been cleaned and can be used as intended or for purely decoration purposes, as the charming penguin figurine alone makes for a nice tabletop decoration. Music box is functioning.
