Danish Cabinet Maker Custom Oak Sideboard
Handsome, stained-oak Danish sideboard expertly crafted by a skilled cabinet maker, evidenced by the superior quality of the piece. Each of the two cabinet doors has a unique key that unlocks its corresponding door (the keys are not interchangeable). The doors open to reveal open storage divided by a fully adjustable shelf on the right side and four double drawers on the left. The dovetailing on the light oak drawers in conjunction with the execution of the design is sublime. Each of the four drawers has its own secondary drawer (tray) that glides effortlessly on a separate built-in track and can open independently of its corresponding drawer. The back is unfinished. The hardware is solid German brass. Refinished condition, but light wear remains (few surface surfaces along with one patch of blotching, and few nicks to sides, as shown). Overall, very good, vintage condition.
