Maitland Smith console table with black tessellated stone surface framed by crude gray stone border, all supported by cast bronze base (ca. 1980s, Philippines).
Excellent, vintage condition with very minor wear (what appears to be light surface scuffs are veins present within the stone itself).
Retains the “Maitland Smith Handmade in the Philippines” manufacturer foil label.

Vintage Maitland Smith Drum Accent Table in Tessellated Stone with Brass Inlay
Attractive accent/side table in beige tessellated fossil stone with brass inlay border by Maitland-Smith (ca. 1970s, Philippines).
Very good, vintage condition with light wear naturally occurring in the stone itself.
There is one spot where the brass trim is recessed/uneven. This is not damage, but instead a minor manufacturer’s flaw (the stone around that recessed brass banding is smooth, not coarse — see 12th photo).
Retains the manufacturer’s label on the reverse.

Vintage Maitland Smith Laced High Heel Boot Vase in Mahogany and Leatherette
Unused Maitland Smith “Fiber Shoe” vase/catchall composed of leatherette wrapped stained mahogany with braided nylon laces and brass eyelets (ca. late 1980s/early 1990s, Philippines).
Removable brass divider retains the manufacturer’s tags detailing the model number and product name. “Maitland Smith” label also present to the underside.
Excellent, unused condition.

Vintage Maple Media Console with Extendable Surface
$2,400.00Stylish, compact and highly functional media cabinet / console in walnut with ebonized accents and laminate top tier surface. The two drawers are divided into cubbies, and all but two cubby slats are removable (with one exception, all divisions within the drawers are fixed). There is an extendable surface and one ‘trick’ cubby in the bottom drawer – the wooden dividers and ‘floor’ are all removable for this section alone. Ideal for storing an important document or small item, as the hidden compartment under the removable wooden ‘floor’ isn’t large enough for anything substantial.
As this was previously used as a media console, there are holes cut out of the back for running cords.
Conservatively refinished condition with only minor wear remaining.

Vintage Marcel Breuer Bent Plywood Chaise Longue / “Long Chair” for Knoll
Marcel Breuer bent plywood chaise longue / “Long Chair.” Originally designed by Marcel Breuer for the English company, Isokon in 1935, this example is a 1970s Knoll version retaining its original Knoll brown wool upholstery. Organic form with sinuous lines enhanced by the warmth of color and grain of the bent plywood. The upholstery shows light fading and a linear snag in the back; overall, usable, good, vintage condition. Plywood has been refinished; only minor wear remains (namely, a small piece of replaced veneer to the base, as shown).
Retains the Knoll tag to the underside.

Vintage Martz Ceramic and Walnut Table Lamp with Sgraffito Detail and Shade
Petite Jane and Gordon Martz table lamp for Marshall Studios (ca. 1960s, USA). Features a pale gray cylindrical base with a wave Sgraffito pattern in light brown.
Nice walnut accents present in both the original final and stem.
Incised “Martz” signature present.

Vintage Matte Brown and Slate Glaze Ceramic Planter with Stand by Deanna Nichols

Holding a BFA from Kansas City Art Institute (1965) and an MFA from Claremont Graduate University in California (1967), Nichols was educated in painting and complex pottery making techniques at an academic level and later served as an educator at the University of Colorado in Colorado Springs, Southwestern College in Chula Vista, CA, and The Chrysler Museum School in Norfolk, VA.
The second floor of the new student center at Kansas City Art Institute is named for Nichols (see image).
This piece dates to the early 1990s, based on the signature “D. Nichols,” which she used during that era and features a matte brown glaze with metallic charcoal/slate glaze rim with incised linear and lava drip decoration. A rare color and textural example from Nichols who favored matte earth-tones glazes. Additionally, this example includes a versatile plate which can serve as a supportive cradle for the planter or reversed for use as a stand.

Circa 1979 based on the signature “Nichols,” which she used during that era and features a design reminiscent of the linear pattern and shape of certain sea shells. The rim decorated with incised sinuous lines protrudes out slightly from the vessel. Attractive palette in matte maroon, brown, and ochre glazes.

Vintage Michael Taylor “Far East” Console Table for Baker in Oak and Burl Inlay
