“Hand Made – Made in Italy” along with the model number stamped on verso.
Crazing present (intentional from kiln firing) and light wear consistent with age present. Overall, fine, vintage condition.

Large crewel embroidery wall-hanging depicting a sunset amid trees in a forest setting. Vibrant, hot pink sun contrasted with a muted background of earth tones, sans one adjacent purple tree.
Modernist composition and palette.

Harry Shokler New York Cityscape Etching
Circa 1930 Harry Shokler (b. 1896 – d. 1978) etching of the Washington Square Arch in Greenwich Village (New York City).
Artist signed in pencil.
Artist Bio:
Born in Cincinnati, Ohio, Harry Shokler was was a painter and a pioneer in the artistic use of silk screen printing. He studied at the Cincinnati Art Academy, the Chester Springs Academy (a summer program of the Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Arts), and at the New York School of Fine and Applied Arts (later Parsons). He spent several years working and studying in Europe and North Africa, and staged a solo exhibit of his work in Paris. Returning to the United States, Shokler was employed by the WPA, and documented the people and places of New York City in his serigraphs and paintings. He taught at the Brooklyn Museum School, Princeton University, Columbia University, and the Southern Vermont Arts Center. He is the author of Artists Manual for Silk Screen Print Making, a highly regarded work that has been reprinted several times. He ultimately settled in Londonderry, Vermont.

$3,600.00Rare 1950s Lee Rosen for Design Technics large scale, hand-thrown and glazed terracotta lamp in taupe. Crude and heavily textured horizontal incised / sgraffito decoration with applied vertical ‘banding’ details.
Very nice, vintage condition with only a couple of impression lines / marks to top base glaze from the kiln (no imperfections to note). Heavy, substantial piece in very nice, vintage condition with only minor wear.
Excludes lamp shade (photos include a shade for demonstration purposes and to provide a scale context). Ginger ale can in the photo is additionally used to demonstrate scale.

Mod Glow Portable Illuminated Vanity Mirror and Case by Brytone Beauty Aide
Brytone Beauty Aide “Mod Glow” vanity mirror and original carrying case. Composed of a brushed aluminum lining with painted orange metal surfaces and brass support stand. Functional condition with the original four bulbs all intact, sound wiring, and a clear mirror-glass surface, free of flaws.
Mirror appears to be in unused condition; the back (closeup) mirror surface is cloudy and, therefore, unusable. Although, since the stand is on the same side, the suggestion is that this side of the mirror was unintended for use.
