Aldo Tura brass and goatskin insulated ice bucket in a dyed brown/red hue lacquered with an acrylic finish (ca. 1950s, Italy).
Retains the styrofoam on the lid’s interior to help insulate the ice.
Brass has been polished but shows scratches/spotting consistent with age/use. Interior is clean, and goatskin shows very minimal wear.
Brogini Rome retailer tag present to the reverse.

Vintage Italian Modernist “Stilkronen” Chrome Table Lamp by Oscar Torlasco

Space age/futurist table lamp designed by Oscar Torlasco for Stilkronen (ca. 1960, Italy).
Composed of an angled cube with chromed-steel cruciform/x-form surfaces each housing five optical cut beveled-glass lenses, all supported by a tripod base with orb-form feet. Corner sections each comprising three white enameled steel squares with sculptural chrome fasteners, which can individually be removed to access the interior sockets to replace bulbs.
Scarcely seen model in good, original condition retaining all components – chrome has been polished, white enamel is original and shows losses, dual power switch with two illumination settings is original (plug can be changed for US use upon request).
Truly exceptional work of art doubling as a highly functional lighting source.

Bauhaus Desk in Beech, Black Laminate, and Bakelite with Tubular Steel Base

Bauhaus-style diminutive student desk/writing table with tubular chromed-steel base and beech frame with bakelite pulls supporting a black laminate surface (ca. 1930s, USA).
Substantial piece that remains both stylish and practical offering sufficient storage options while occupying a small footprint.
There are five drawers in total, all retaining the original sculptural amber bakelite pulls.
There are laminate scuffs throughout, and wear to the metal frame (patina, scuffs, general wear). The beech has been refinished, though on the back of the desk there are veneer losses and two old repairs along with one split to the wood (see last two images). Overall, good, vintage condition with wear consistent with age/use.

Carrier is composed of a black and white wire frame with octagonal glass carriages supported by rubber orb feet.

Rectangular tray by Couroc of Monterey, California with an inlaid trio of barware pieces including a martini glass, tumbler or shot glass, and coupe (circa 1950s).
Composed of a black lacquer phenolic resin (water, burn, stain, and detergent resistant plastic) with inlaid shell, coral, and aluminum accents.
Each glass boats its unique palette – red, green, and yellow offer nice pops of colors, contrasting well with the black resin and silver aluminum details.
Early piece, unbranded.
