Folk Art Carved Wood and Bottlecap Snake after Felipe Archuleta

This Felipe Archuleta-style folk art snake is comprised of bottlecaps, a carved wood head and rattle, wire and adhesive. The piece is not painted; the artist employed caps in lime green, orange and blue (among others) to give the body a natural brightness. There is nice carved detail to the wood on both ends.
