Mid-Century Italian Murano Glass and Brass “Lily Leaf” Chandelier by Franco Luce

Elegant, luxe eight-fixture brass and blown glass ‘lily leaf’ form chandelier by Franco Luce for Murano (Italy, 1970s). Each blown glass leaf is transparent with a white filagree detail. The milk cased glass floral accent which mounts to the bottom of the fixture is present (in most examples, this piece is missing).
Brass fixture, stem and canopy are in original, unpolished condition showing warm patina and light tarnish. The glass is free of damage.
There are eight lily petals in total: four small, four large (Large – D: 15.75″ x L: 7″, Small – D: 13.63″x L: 6.13″).

Impressive three-fixture solid brass chandelier, circa 1950s. Composed of three large brass pendants with perforations (each fixture alone measures 12.25″ L x 8.1″ Diameter). The wiring connects the brass arm and ceiling cap to the fixtures. Original condition. Measure: Height to ceiling cap / canopy 28.25″.

Condition: Good. Spotty patina to brass, some small dark spots and scuffs. Overall, good, vintage condition.

Single Mid-Century Modern Spun Plastic Rotaflex Pendant Lamp by Yasha Heifetz

Single Yasha Heifetz Rotoflex ‘saucer’ pendant in spun plastic (ca. 1960s, USA). The exact process involves mold spinning thermoplastic bioplastic cord while simultaneously brushing on acetone mixture as it spins. The resulting product is cellulose acetate, an early acrylic, which is lighter than glass and more robust than paper. It emits a warm, lovely light.
Large size Height: 10.25″ x Diameter: 23″
Wiring, single socket, and supporting hardware have been replaced. LED Party Bulbs have been used for demonstration purposes in each fixture to show how utilizing different colored bulbs transforms these fixtures. Though, they additionally emit a warm, lovely light when standard, soft white bulbs are employed. Maximum wattage/socket is 110/230 Volt.
Did not initially include a canopy.

Italian Modernist planetary Saturn-form pendant after Gio Ponti and Pietro Chiesa for S. A. Luigi Fontana & Co. (ca. 1930s). Composed of a pale blue glass central globe pierced by a metal arrow with etched glass disc displaying concentric rings, all supported by a metal ring orbit suspended from a chromed-metal canopy-topped stem.
Glass is clean; unpolished metal and chrome plate show oxidation and natural patina (presented in original condition – much of the wear to the metal can be eradicated with polishing and fully with re-plating).
