Set of Three Vintage Trench Art Bullet Casing Paperweights and Flint Lighter

$450.00

Collection of three trench art figurines composed of gutted shell casings mounted to bases. Two are decorative paperweights supported by round, wooden, platform bases, while the third, an actual flint lighter concealed by the projectile, is supported by a burgundy leather wrapped square base bearing the name “Atchison Specialty Mfg. Co” in embossed lettering. Atchison Specialty produced iron and steel and likely had this lighter produced for advertising purposes.
Nice collection of handmade vintage militaria from the Mid-20th Century.
Original condition with patina/scuffs present along with spots of leather loss to the Atchison lighter base (flaw present to the edge of one the wooden bases is naturally occurring and not a loss). Lighter is non-functioning. The flint appears sound, so presumably only new butane is required.
