1960s Italian valet featuring a low, woven-cord seat which opens to reveal a storage box.
In addition to the traditional hanger, there is a demilune change / cufflink / accessories tray on the top which supports a brass rail flanked by wooden ball knobs intended for hanging scarves, ties, or pants.
Constructed of solid walnut, this example boasts clean lines and modern, elegant form.
Highly functional and resourceful valet that suites a variety of needs, yet takes up very little space.
The walnut is in refinished condition but shows light wear consistent with use.

Mid-Century Italian Murano Glass and Brass “Lily Leaf” Chandelier by Franco Luce

Elegant, luxe eight-fixture brass and blown glass ‘lily leaf’ form chandelier by Franco Luce for Murano (Italy, 1970s). Each blown glass leaf is transparent with a white filagree detail. The milk cased glass floral accent which mounts to the bottom of the fixture is present (in most examples, this piece is missing).
Brass fixture, stem and canopy are in original, unpolished condition showing warm patina and light tarnish. The glass is free of damage.
There are eight lily petals in total: four small, four large (Large – D: 15.75″ x L: 7″, Small – D: 13.63″x L: 6.13″).

Nice set of circa 1960s Japanese spice jars with original wall-mounted teak holder. There are six racks in total: one red, one white, two teal, two black, all with cork tops. There is minor paint loss throughout / discoloration to part of the white jar, along with cork loss in spots. Overall, the set is in very nice, vintage condition.
Retain the ‘Japan’ labels to the undersides of the jars.

Mid-Century Lane Acclaim Series “Switch Blade” Pivoting Walnut Coffee Table

Mid-Century Modern Lane “Acclaim” pivoting walnut coffee whose switch blade-like mechanics allow one tier to pivot out in a variety of configurations (ca. 1960s, California, USA).
The lower tier can nest below the top tier, fan out into an “L-shape,” or fully straighten out to created a tiered, long surface. The tier glides out smoothly with ease.
The two-tone solid walnut boasting rich tone and vibrant grain enhances the piece’s modernist form and sharp lines.

Mid-Century Mahogany Twelve-Drawer Chest / Dresser by Edward Wormley for Dunbar

Mid-Century dresser/chest of drawers, model #5272A, designed by Edward Wormley for Dunbar (ca. 1950s, USA).
Composed of a rich walnut-stained mahogany chest (Dunbar factory finish ‘Malabar’ #48) with discreet bentwood drawer pulls, all supported by the original rosewood tapered feet.
Ample storage with twelve drawers (a middle row of long drawers flanked by two rows of shorter drawers) that all gradually increase in height.
The unobtrusive end placement of the bentwood drawer pulls provides an unobstructed view of the mahogany grain possessing such vibrance that it appears to move as it is surveyed from different angles (what we call “action”).
Retains the Dunbar metal medallion to the top left drawer.
Very good, conservatively refinished condition with only light wear remaining.
Sourced from the original owner who purchased this in 1955 along with other Dunbar pieces from the E. 63rd Street NYC showroom.

Parsons style mixed wood coffee table / bench attributed to Milo Baughman for Directional (ca. 1960s, USA). The dining version of this table is found in the Directional catalog as part of the “Gallery One” line.
Composed of walnut, rosewood and teak veneer banding with rosewood trim and block legs.
Conservatively refinished condition with light wear remaining: crackling to the banding on one profile side and a scuff to the other along with light surface wear. Overall, very good, vintage condition.
