Very nice, vintage condition with only a couple of impression lines / marks to top base glaze from the kiln (no imperfections to note). Heavy, substantial piece in very nice, vintage condition with only minor wear.
Excludes lamp shade (photos include a shade for demonstration purposes and to provide a scale context). Ginger ale can in the photo is additionally used to demonstrate scale.

Lladro Enameled Stoneware Owl Figurine
$295.00This vintage enameled stoneware owl was originally designed by Antonio Ballester for Lladro in 1971 (Spain). Lladro, known for their vibrant earth-inspired pigments, made an assortment of these owls in different palettes. This example boasts a heavily-textured beige and slate gray body with ochre, blue, green, and purple facial details.
Free of flaws; manufacturer’s mark branded on the underside.

Long Norwegian Modern Exposed Teak Sofa with Original Upholstery
$6,500.00Mid-Century Modern sofa with a continuous, exposed teak arm / back trim (Norway, ca. 1960s).
Retains the original upholstery composed of a charcoal wool frame with a contrasting cushion in red, green, white, and oatmeal plaid. The foam and straps have been replaced. Frame has been refinished; only a couple of minor scuffs remain.
Impressive, long size (H: 31.25″ x D: 28.5″ x L: 107″ x Arm height: 22″ x Seat height: 17″) with crisp lines and elegant form.
Available separately is the corresponding arm chair.
Metallic Slate and Matte Red Glaze Variegated Ceramic Planter by Deanna Nichols
$950.00Studio pottery planter by ceramicist, Deanna Nichols (b. 1942-2017, Missouri).
Holding a BFA from Kansas City Art Institute (1965) and an MFA from Claremont Graduate University in California (1967), Nichols was educated in painting and complex pottery making techniques at an academic level and later served as an educator at the University of Colorado in Colorado Springs, Southwestern College in Chula Vista, CA, and The Chrysler Museum School in Norfolk, VA.
The second floor of the new student center at Kansas City Art Institute is named for Nichols (see image).
Circa 1979 studio piece featuring an attractive deep crimson glaze with ochre banding and slate rim and base in both matte and contrasting metallic glazes.
Incised “Nichols” signature present to the reverse.
From the family of Deanna Nichols’ personal collection of her pieces.
