Vintage 3-Piece Desk Set — Rino Pirovano Rexite Pen Holder and Berol ‘Funball’ Pencil Sharpener

Grouping of three vintage desk set tools: one smiley face ‘Funball’ pencil sharpener by Berol (circa 1970s USA), one flat, vintage pen holder (Stadio 920) designed by Rino Pirovano for Rexite (circa 1970s Italy), and one taller, vintage acrylic pen holder (circa 1970s USA).
The Berol pencil sharper features a molded casing with a steel cutter. There is some discoloration / darkening to one side of the yellow smiley face, as shown, along with some wear to the metal handle. There are also exposed screw mounts to the base for wall mounting, and a former owner’s denotation ‘pencil sharpener’ on the underside.
Both acrylic and Rexite pencil / pen holders are in nice, vintage shape.
A fun, practical set, showcasing molded plastics / acrylics, sure to brighten any desk / office area.

Finished back with gold painted wooden frame, retaining the “Mastercraft of Grand Rapids” manufacturer tag.

Vintage Acrylic and Teak Abstract Cat Sculpture by Robert D. Harvey

Robert D. Harvey (b. 1927-2015 – Marshfield, MA, USA) abstract sculpture composed of cut acrylic / Lucite (both smoked and transparent) and sculpted walnut assembled to represent a cat. Mounted to an ebonized pine board, circa 1970s. This sculpture is a rare example from Harvey, a graduate of the Museum of Fine Arts School in Boston, who was almost exclusively known as an accomplished painter.
Unique piece in nice, original condition sans light scratches to the clear acrylic ‘face’ cut out, along with minor, overall wear. There is additionally one spot of walnut loss to one corner, as pictured.
Artist signed and stamped with address and telephone number.

Vintage Adrian Pearsall for Craft Associates Illuminated Globe on Walnut Stand

Model #1898-G16 globe circa 1960 USA designed by Adrian Pearsall for Craft Associates. 16″ Replogle ‘Comprehensive Globe’ itself is composed of paper gores over plastic with a brass-plated meridian. The Pearsall designed base is sculpted solid walnut with two supports for the meridian. Base has been refinished; globe itself shows minor wear (light spots of soiling, few small spots of loss, light, general wear). Overall, the globe is in very nice, vintage condition and will be presented newly rewired and ready for use.

Vintage Agnethe Jorgensen for B & G of Denmark ‘Three Cows’ Figurine #4206

This unique gold and white porcelain figurine known as ‘Three Cows’ (design #4206) was designed by Agnethe Jorgensen for Bing and Grondahl of Copenhagen, Denmark. The production year of the piece, as identified by the logo, is between 1970 and 1983. The Bing and Grondahl signature (B & G) is imprinted in green on the underside with the 3 Towers logo. The logo is encircled by ‘Copenhagen Porcelain Made in Denmark’ with the model number ‘4206.’
This piece is in excellent, vintage condition, with no chips or cracks.

Vintage domed aluminum miner’s pail / survivor lunchbox with dual latches and thermos bottle by Victory (ca. 1950, USA).
Great storage box/prop/carrying case equipped with a collapsible red plastic handle.
Glass insulated stainless steel thermos boasts an attractive color combination of blue with red stripes and retains its original cork top (there is no stainless steel top, just the cork).
‘Cut here for rescue’ sticker was added concealing a portion of the “V” on the front.
Good, vintage condition with wear/scratches consistent with age and use.
Partially legible branding on the reverse.

Vintage American Airplane Table Lamp with Illuminated Wings

Charming, scarcely seen airplane table lamp, ca. 1940s/early 1950s, USA.
Plane itself is maple with steel accents and ribbon lined plastic wings as shades mounted to a tubular brass angled support atop stepped stained oak and mahogany base with black painted rim. Non-adjustable – airplane sits fixed at an angle though about to take flight.
A similar, slightly smaller example sold at the September 5, 2013 Christie’s “Out of the Ordinary” auction.
Very clean condition with patina/light tarnish to the unpolished brass and steel and a few small scuffs to the wood. Remarkable shape for its age/use, particularly compared with every other documented example.
Wiring, sockets, and cord are newly replaced.
