Attractive Henry P. Glass magazine rack with sculpted walnut legs assembled using sophisticated wood joinery techniques (circular joints). Slots are made of Naugahyde (original to the design).
Despite its appearance, the piece is not totally collapsable; it is only slightly adjustable from partially open to fully.
Walnut has been newly refinished. Overall, the rack is in good, vintage condition with minor wear consistent with age / use.

Italian Modernist Sculptural Walnut, Brass and Glass Magazine Rack / Stand

Architectural two-tiered magazine/book/periodical stand/rack/table (ca. 1950s, Italy).
Composed of a deeply sculpted Italian Walnut frame supporting tubular brass rails with exposed brass hardware for draping or supporting magazines/newspapers and four panes of tempered glass, each set of two coming together to form right angles for surface and back support of displayed items .
The top glass surface is only 13.5″ L x 3″ D and the bottom is 13.5″ L x 4″ D, so the glass surfaces themselves are somewhat limited to supporting smaller items without spillover (note the gap between the glass and brass rails).
Handsome, sophisticated piece in very good, refinished condition, though light wear remains to the newly polished brass (patina/tarnish).

Mid-Century Norwegian Modern teak magazine rack designed in the 1960s by Rolf Hesland for Bruksbo.
Features six slots for books/magazines with a sculptural handle, all supported by four caster wheels for easy mobility.
Uncommon example with three more slots than the more ubiquitous model. Additionally, this examples retains the original Danish “Danroll” metal and rubber casters unlike the later plastic wheels.
Very good, refinished condition with a few small edge/handle repairs as shown.

Highly decorative walnut Canterbury magazine/book rack/sheet music stand in the Victorian style (ca. late 19th/early 20th Century, England).
Composed of three spacious storage slots formed by slender turned bobbin/barley twist columns topped with bulbous-form finials on each end, all supported by turned baluster legs with the original caster wheels. Additionally, there is a shallow bottom drawer for additional storage.
Good age present (former worm wood holes, patina, age-commensurate scuffs, and soiling to the paper in the drawer, along with a small spot of veneer loss to the drawer, as shown). Remains a highly functional, exquisite piece.
