Settee designed in 1954 by Florence Knoll composed of a matte chrome-plated steel and enameled steel frame. Foam and upholstery were updated in roughly the 1980s. Arne Jacobsen for Fritz Hansen Egg Chair and Ottoman Distributed by Knoll

Originally designed in 1958 for the Royal Hotel in Copenhagen, this 1999 authentic production Arne Jacobsen egg chair and corresponding ottoman were manufactured by Fritz Hansen and distributed in the United States by Knoll.
Biomorphic design with soft curves that cradle the body. Sizable seat supported by an aluminum base with both a 360 degree swivel and tilt function for optimal comfort.
The luxe beige cotton / chenille upholstery, which looks misleadingly pink in a few of the images, is original and shows only light wear from age / minor signs of wear (namely, two tiny spots to one of the arms). Upholstery has been cleaned and is ready to go.
Both chair and ottoman retain the Fritz Hansen / Arne Jacobsen 1999 / Knoll Studios / Danish Control labels.

Early ‘Grasshopper’ Chair by Eero Saarinen for Knoll Associates

Eero Saarinen’s iconic ‘Grasshopper’ chair designed for Knoll Associates. Early example (circa late 1940s), as indicated by the early ‘Knoll Associates’ decal. Composed of bentwood arms / legs in laminated birch plywood which support the upholstered seat / back. Birch is in original condition, and shows only slight wear (minor nicks / light general wear). Seat has been reupholstered in a light grey tweed upholstery and foam has been replaced.
Incredible lines and curvaceous form, this lounge chair is a conversation piece that shows well from all angles.

Measures:

Arm height 22.75″
Seat height (lowest) 11.5″

Early Florence Knoll Credenza / Cabinet in Mahogany, Birch, and Grasscloth

Uncommon and early Florence Knoll Credenza (1947) featuring a birch cabinet, stained mahogany base, and grasscloth-wrapped doors, which slide open to reveal three wooden shelves to the left and two plate glass shelves to the right. Dramatic lines enhanced by sculpted, splayed legs, which add nice contrast to an otherwise organic form.
Interior components and leather pulls are all original and show wear (fissures / fleabites present to glass shelves, which can be arranged to mask these flaws, so that the wear is contained to the underside and back). Lovely patina to the leather and paint losses to the interior (white paint is original and is presented, accordingly). Birch has been newly refinished and grasscloth doors have been fully restored to ensure longevity. The stained mahogany base is completely original with only light wear, as shown.
Measures: H 32.5″ x D 14.875″ x L 72″
There are four sections in total – one with two wooden shelves, one with a single wooden shelf, one with two glass shelves, and an open storage section. The orientation of all sections with shelves can be changed, as the shelves are all removable and the same dimensions. The interior sections all measure: H 16″ x D 11.5″ x L 16.75″

First Edition Charles Pollack for Knoll 657 ‘Sling Chair’ in Black Leather

Iconic Charles Pollack for Knoll ‘657’ Sling Chair designed in 1960 and manufactured from 1964-1979. Early example, as evidenced by the ‘Knoll Associates Inc. 320 Park Avenue New York, NY’ tag (Knoll relocated to Fifth Avenue in 1970). The chair’s minimal, yet refined frame with exposed hardware is polished chrome steel tubing and cast aluminum arms and stretchers with a black-fused finish. Suspended on the frame is a shaped black hide leather back / seat sling finished with a capeskin seat pad for added comfort (pad stays in place on the sling via four, original velcro tabs) .
Original condition with wear consistent with age / use. The leather is beautifully aged and shows creasing / general wear. There is slight peeling to black finish of one of the arms and a considerable amount of wear / pitting to the chrome steel front and back bar. There is a split in the leather, only visible from the underside. Overall, a nicely aged, iconic piece in all original condition.

Original off-white powder coated frames show light nicks/scuffs/few small spots of loss consistent with age/use, and the steel back frame bars show light scuffing. Newly reupholstered.
One chair retains the dated (1971) Knoll International label.

Pair of Bouclé Slipper Chairs Designed by Jens Risom for H.G. Knoll Associates

Jens Risom for H.G. Knoll Associates armless slipper chairs composed of upholstered seats supported by walnut bases (first appearing in the 1942 Knoll catalog).
There is a slight design disparity between the two chairs – the wood joinery in the back base of one of the chairs isn’t present in the other (one chair is an early production ca. 1942, while the other was likely manufactured roughly four years later before Risom’s departure from Knoll).
Newly reupholstered in an off-white/wheat Kravet bouclé (36114-106) with button-tufted back detail. The foam has additionally been replaced. The bases have been newly refinished. Scuffs/wear remains to one base, as shown.
