Composed of a graduated ceramic orb base supporting a sculptural brass column stem with dual socket design, ring finial, and round pull string adornments.
Very good, vintage condition. There is tarnish/scuffs to the unpolished brass, as shown, along with a small patch of linen loss to the shade.
Newly rewired and includes the original shade.

Vintage Georges Briard “El Dorado” Enamel and Brass Tea/Coffee Service

Coffee service set including a sugar bowl, creamer, and tea/coffee pot by Georges Briard for his “El Dorado” line.
Composed of brass-plated silver vessels with teal enamel inserts. The creamer and pot both have carved walnut handles, and the pitcher retains the original glass cylindrical ‘carafe’ which screws to lid.
Polished condition, though there is some plate loss to the creamer, as shown, along with overall age-commensurate overall wear. The sugar lid has a spot of crazing to the enamel. Remains a luxurious, hard to find, and complete set from this coveted line by master enamelist, Georges Briard.

Vintage Gio Ponti BNL Writing Table / Desk in Italian Walnut, Beech and Brass

Iconic writing table designed in the 1940s by Gio Ponti for Schirolli to furnish BNL (Banca Nazionale del Lavoro) offices across Italy.
This early 1950s model was acquired directly from the Rome Bissolati BNL headquarters (Ponti also used this design for the University of Padua).
Composed of a walnut, beech, and fruitwood frame with laminate top, dual dovetailed drawers, brass pulls/sabots, and single lock, all further supported by a lower stretcher.
Beautifully aged, original condition with warm patina and natural wear from use (surface and frame scuffs / veneer losses around the drawers along with tarnish to the unpolished brass, as shown).
We have a total of four of these desks, all obtained from Rome Bissolai BNL. Listing is for the single desk pictured.

Vintage Henredon Black Lacquer and Burl Dining Set

Chinoiserie-style burl and black lacquer dining set by Henredon of Morganton, NC, USA circa 1980. Oval table is composed of a burl inset surface framed by a black lacquer border raised on a double pedestal with brass accents atop a stepped base. The chairs (four in total – two side, two captain) feature a black lacquered, wooden frame with burl back splats, caned seats, and brass sabots. A luxurious set in very nice, vintage condition with only a few, light scuffs to the lacquer and light wear to the unpolished, brass sabots.
The circular, seat cushions are not original to the set, but can be included upon request. They are in good, vintage condition with wear / spotting throughout.
There is no leaf for the table, as the seam suggests.

Vintage Italian Angled Coat Rack with Umbrella Stand in Painted Steel and Brass

Visually stunning steel and brass slanted coat rack, ca. 1970s Italy.
Composed of an angled steel column/pole supporting a brass demilune top rack with a perforated surface and ‘crown’ border of cut triangular and trapezoidal ‘hooks’ for hanging scarfs and coats above an eight-slotted brass umbrella holder.
Triangular base houses a metal perforated insert, furthering the geometric component of the design.
Rich patina to the metal ‘grid’ insert and steel base and some scuffs to the central pole, along with spots of tarnish/scuffs to the brass. Overall, very good, vintage condition.
