Italian floor lamp composed of clusters of sculptural ceramic adornments separated by brass brackets, all supported by a splayed tripod base (ca. 1960s).
Paired with an oversized, vintage drum shade, which shows light wear (one patch of discoloration, as shown).
Very unique, visually striking lamp with attractive, bold color combinations of the glazes employed which are further enhanced by the luster of the brass accents.
Light tarnish to the brass, as shown, along with aforementioned spot on the shade. Overall, very good, vintage condition.
Retains the original three-bulb socket, but newly rewired for US use.

Italian Modernist Ice Bucket in Brass and Dyed Goatskin by Aldo Tura

Aldo Tura brass and goatskin insulated ice bucket in a dyed brown/red hue lacquered with an acrylic finish (ca. 1950s, Italy).
Retains the styrofoam on the lid’s interior to help insulate the ice.
Brass has been polished but shows scratches/spotting consistent with age/use. Interior is clean, and goatskin shows very minimal wear.
Brogini Rome retailer tag present to the reverse.

Mid-Century Italian Modern bar cart / trolley designed in the 1950s by Aldo Tura.
Composed of two dyed malachite green goatskin surfaces connected by a sculptural pillar, all supported by brass caster wheels.
Uncommon, striking and desirable green color with marbleized texture.
Small size allowing versatile applications outside of the expected drink cart use (bathroom towel stand, cocktail / end table in a living room or den, bedroom catchall for accessories such as jewelry and perfume).
Excellent, vintage condition with only normal edge wear to the lacquer finish, as shown.
Retains the “Creazione Tura Italy” medallion.

Italian Modernist Ramati Shield Mirror by Vetreria Bonardi

Specchi Ramati “Copper Mirrors” wall mirror composed of a brass shield-form frame with wooden backing produced by Vetreria Bonardi in Rome (ca. 1960s, Italy).
As the label suggests, the glazier used the formula of French designer, Roger Duprey, to make the glass, which is a method analogous to that of metalsmithing (hence “Ramati,” or “Copper” being the name of this particular line of mirrors). Though, the glass bears no tint or resemblance to copper.
Brass shows some spotting/discoloration consistent with age/use. Glass is in excellent, vintage condition.

Italian Modernist Three-Fixture Glass, Brass and Metal Floor Lamp by Stilnovo

Triple socket floor lamp composed of black enameled-metal stems and steel base with brass accents and cased glass cylindrical fixtures by Stilnovo (Italy, ca. 1950s).
The three sockets are housed within cut metal ‘receptacles’ resembling candle/votive holders.
Takes three E14 base bulbs. We are using 3W globe bulbs (30 watt equivalent) warm white bulbs in the images with the shades on. Additionally, one of the images shows the lamp with three different kinds of E14 bulbs to illustrate various options of bulbs that can be used.
The plug has been changed for US use.
Stylish, unique piece with age-commensurate wear present (patina/light wear to the original black enamel along with tarnish spots to the brass, as shown). Overall, in very good, vintage condition.

Italian Patinated Brass Bench with Cushion

This circa 1950s Italian bench is composed of a patinated brass frame whose design resembles a lyre’s form with strings that branch out into curved arms. There are minor spots of tarnish to the brass, as shown. The original cushion has been well preserved, as it was kept in a plastic case. Overall, the piece is in in very nice, vintage condition.
Perfect size for use in a foyer or boudoir.

Italian Walnut Valet by Ico Parisi for Fratelli Reguitti

This Italian valet was designed by Ico Parisi for Fratelli Reguitti in the 1950s. Composed of a frame/hanger and change or cufflink holder with a double rack on the bottom for shoes and four caster wheels for easy mobility. The top bar (intended for hanging scarves, ties, or pants) can be extended by pulling out the brass rod.
Walnut is in excellent, vintage condition. Brass shows patina / general wear / heavy tarnish and loss to the bars of the bottom shoe rack, as shown.
Branded with the FR initials.

John Stuart Bookmatched Walnut Credenza

Regal credenza from John Stuart featuring bookmatched walnut doors and patinated brass pulls. Three sets of doors open to reveal a single, stationary shelf on either side and three drawers in the middle. There are four removable inserts in the top drawer. Retains the John Stuart medallion.
Beautiful lines and detail.
The depth with the doors open is 29.5″.

Josef Hoffmann for Wittmann “Cabaret Fledermaus” Side Table in Beechwood

Impressive accent table originally designed in 1907 by Josef Hoffman for the Cabaret Fledermaus and manufactured in the 1960s by the Austrian manufacturer, Wittmann. Features a spindle-constructed beechwood frame with a brass-lined base and glass top / upholstery inlayed surface. (The fabric is original and in very nice, vintage condition).
Retains the brass manufacturer tag to the underside.
Relatively large scale for an accent table:

Kinetic Brutalist ‘Carnival’ Sculpture by David Hall-Coleman

1962 David Hall-Coleman kinetic mixed-metal sculpture entitled, ‘Abandoned Carnival Machine.’ Extraordinary sculpture composed of torch-cut and soldered brass and copper elements on an oak wood board. Fascinating conversation piece with interactive elements such as two windmills which manually turn. Sugaring and oxidation to the metal produced the red and green tinges seen throughout the piece. Signed, titled, and dated on the reverse. Base measures: D 8.25″ x L 14″.
