1950s Industrial Black Iron Railroad Tie Bookends

Nice pair of vintage black forged iron railroad tie bookends. These have more character than traditional i-beams, with splayed ‘leg’ supports, almost appearing cartoonish in form.
Wear / loss is original to the fabrication; these are in good, distressed, vintage condition.
Slight variation in size due to the handmade nature of these pieces, but approximate dimensions are: L : 4.9″ x D: 3.75″ x H: 4.25″
Listed separately is a brown pair.

Very good, vintage condition with oxidation to the iron, as shown, along with very minimal edge wear.

Mid Century Martz Ceramic and Walnut Bookends

Pair of Gordon and Jane Martz for Marshall Studios walnut and brass bookends with ceramic diamond tile inlay (model #TBE1-21, circa 1957). Boasts vibrant colors of taupe, green, blue and white. Ceramic and walnut are pristine; brass to one of the ends shows tarnish (concealed when used for its intended purpose).
