Pair of Vintage Hand-Carved ‘Magnetic Tape Unit’ Bookends
Interesting pair of carved wooden bookends (circa late 1970s / early 1980s) depicting magnetic tape drives for computer data storage. (They also resemble reel-to-reels, so a great set for an audiophile or computer enthusiast.)
Nice red / black swirl paint detail to the background.
Wear to the painted black metal ends, which are masked by books when used as bookends; wood is in excellent, vintage condition.

Pair of Vintage Henredon Illuminated Display Cabinets in Olive Burl
Pair of elegant 1980s Henredon illuminated curio cabinets / display cases beautifully veneered in pale olive burl on ebonized plinth bases.
Details include inlaid sculpted wood trim (which mirrors the ebony of the bases), solid brass hardware, mirrored back, and beveled glass shelves / glass side panels. There are two bulbs per cabinet equipped with a dimmer switch to adjust the illumination setting.
Comes with a total of seven shelves (four are displayed in one case, three in the other).
Excellent, vintage condition; glass is perfect, veneer shows only light wear consistent with age.

Pair of Vintage Italian Figural Porcelain Italian Greyhound Bookends by Borghese
Pair of Staffordshire-style porcelain Italian greyhound/whippet bookends by Borghese (Italy, ca. late 1920s/early 1930s). Composed of statuesque, tan greyhounds with black hand-painted facial/paw details and gold collars perched on navy-blue poufs.
Very good, vintage condition with light patina present, but no losses.
Retain the black felted bottoms with the “Borghese” manufacturer’s label with corresponding model number ‘114.’

Pair of circa 1960s Italian gilt tole sconces / candleholders with sheaf of wheat motif. Each sconce holds two candles.
Nice patina to the gilt and light wear consistent with age / use. There is one less stalk on the right sconce than the left (there is no evidence that this piece was ever there; instead, it appears to just be a design disparity between the two).

Pair of iconic model 1853 frosted glass table lamps designed in 1954 by the French glassmaker, Max Ingrand, for Fontana Arte, Italy.
Stylish, practical lamps occupying a small footprint but emitting a strong and pleasant light from two sources (glass shade and glass base).
Early examples with vintage switches (one of the two is branded Fontana Arte) and lower perforated bases, which differ slightly between the two, as shown.
Excellent vintage condition with only light, age-commensurate wear to the white-painted interior branches and sockets. Rewired for US use while retaining the switches.

Whimsical Italian-modern ceramic wall panels featuring two marionettes: one panel, in taupe, the other in red with decorative details in black, red, yellow, white, and green.
Excellent, vintage condition with only two spots of loss to one of the marionette’s black shirts (easy to miss, because the base color is also black).
