Richard Schultz for Knoll Indoor / Outdoor ‘1966’ Series Coffee Table

At the request of Florence Knoll, who was in need of weather resistant, well-designed outdoor furniture for her Florida home, Schultz designed this collection for Knoll in 1966. The rectangular coffee table (particularly in the orange porcelain enameled steel) is a scarcely seen example from the ‘1966’ series. The welded-cast and extruded aluminium frame has a weather resistant finish. Additionally, the table was designed with a slight separation between the enameled surface and the base to prevent water from pooling. There is minor wear to the enameled steel top (small spots of loss to the edges where the frame meets the top and two light rings on one surface end). There are light scratches, but overall the table is in very good, vintage condition.

Scandinavian Deco Club Chairs in Blue Leather and Velvet

Fantastic pair of lush club chairs with spring seats and turquoise leather frames. The blue velvet cushions and corresponding lining under the loose cushion are a relatively recent addition (past decade or so). Velvet is in excellent, vintage condition, and the leather is nicely aged showing wear commensurate with use. The front feet retain most of the original white paint, exposing the mahogany underneath where there is loss. The back mahogany cylindrical feet retain none of the original paint (perhaps by design).
