Jens Risom Floating Three-Seat Armless Walnut Sofa
$6,800.00Three-seat sofa, Model #U250, designed by Jens Risom for Risom Design in the 1950s. Composed of a sculptural walnut base on which the tufted, high-back seat is mounted. Sharp, modernist lines presenting well from all angles.
Charcoal wool is original and presents well, despite a few snags, as shown. Foam is in need of replacement.
Walnut has been refinished; light wear remains.

Long Norwegian Modern Exposed Teak Sofa with Original Upholstery
$6,500.00Mid-Century Modern sofa with a continuous, exposed teak arm / back trim (Norway, ca. 1960s).
Retains the original upholstery composed of a charcoal wool frame with a contrasting cushion in red, green, white, and oatmeal plaid. The foam and straps have been replaced. Frame has been refinished; only a couple of minor scuffs remain.
Impressive, long size (H: 31.25″ x D: 28.5″ x L: 107″ x Arm height: 22″ x Seat height: 17″) with crisp lines and elegant form.
Available separately is the corresponding arm chair.

Minimal design with clean lines and sharp profile.
The original vinyl which appears army green or charcoal, light depending, is in good, vintage condition with only light patina present — no scratches, holes or losses. The walnut has been lightly refinished and shows wear to the middle leg, partial frame under the seats, and to the arm rests (as shown). Overall, very good, vintage condition.

Mid-Century High-Back Birch Settee by Maxwell Royal
$4,800.00Statuesque and elegant birch settee manufactured in the 1950s by Maxwell Royal of Hickory, NC (though, often mis-attributed as Dunbar or Paolo Buffa).
Dramatic, deeply-carved, elongated horn extensions on the back and sinuous curved arm rests. Possessing design attributes of both American Provincial and Italian modernism, this versatile piece works with a variety of styles.
The upholstery was replaced at least 30 years ago, and shows uneven darkening from the thinning foam within. It can be used as is with the aforementioned wear, though foam replacement and reupholstery is recommended.
Birch has been newly refinished, though light wear remains (few nicks / scuffs, as shown).

Composed of sinuous tubular brass head/footboards with mahogany and rosewood frames.
Wood has been conservatively refinished and is in very good, vintage condition. Unpolished brass bearing a rich patina shows light wear/tarnish.
Can be used as two single beds or together as a king. Though, as these were designed in Italy, note the specs below when considering box springs/mattresses.

Scarcely seen piece by the noted architect remaining highly stylized with its sweeping lines, luxe materials and unique incorporation of geometrical shapes, while occupying a small footprint.
Upholstery is original and shows well with only minor wear from use (usable as is). Frame has been conservatively refinished and is in very good, vintage condition with only light age-commensurate wear remaining.

Retains both the Walter Knoll Germany applied manufacturer’s foil label along with the perforated “Knoll” branding to the bolster cushions.
Extremely well-maintained in very fine, all-original vintage condition with rich patina and light scuffs commensurate with age / use.

Scandinavian Folke Ohlsson Teak Settee in Jack Lenor Larsen “Caravan” Velvet
$6,900.00Scandinavian Modern settee by Swedish designer, Folke Ohlsson for Fritz Hansen upholstered in Jack Lenor Larsen “Caravan” cotton velvet fabric (ca. 1960s, Denmark).
Delightful, diminutive piece whose vibrant, geometric-pattern lends itself to a variety of decorating styles.
The original owner, a notable set decorator, draped the piece in linen when it was in use, as to preserve the upholstery. There is minor wear, as shown (light marks/impressions to the back, some spotting, and minor, general wear). Overall, the fabric is in very nice shape for its age and undoubtedly usable as is with minor wear.
Works well in any room, but small enough for boudoir/foyer use.

Two tables are identical in size, and the third is 4″ taller and slightly longer

Sling Sofa in Steel and Bouclé by Bruce Hannah and Andrew Morrison for Knoll
$5,600.00Vintage three-seat armless sofa in charcoal bouclé with an off-white powder-coated steel frame designed by Bruce Hannah and Andrew Morrison for Knoll (1971, New York, NY USA). The design was inspired by the extruded aluminum of a sailboat mast.
Upholstery is a subtle two-tone gray bouclé, and either side can be displayed: the front cushions are a charcoal bouclé (Kravet 36114-11), and the back is a slate bouclé (Kravet 36120-21) – the front is a shade lighter and the weave is looser than the back.
Original off-white powder coated frame shows light nicks/scuffs consistent with age/use, and the steel back frame bar shows light scuffing. Newly reupholstered.
Retains the dated (1971) Knoll International label.

Vintage Brass and Mahogany Queen Canopy Bed Frame by Baker
$7,500.00Luxurious Baker Furniture queen canopy bed frame in mahogany and brass with deeply carved Dual-panels above the mahogany headboard and attached brackets to side rails supporting the box spring (ca. 1970, USA).
Includes the original instructions directly from Baker Furniture.
One blemish to the mahogany which would be concealed by the mattress. There is one rough edge to the back of one of the panels, as shown. Unpolished brass shows a natural, warm patina along with light scuffs. Overall, very good, vintage condition.
